ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Leonardtown, Maryland.

Opportunity : RN - Tele

Job Details :

  • Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
  • 2 years of nursing experience required
  • First time travelers accepted
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
  • Skills required : Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required per unit needs
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
  • 6 weekend shifts required per contract
  • 36 hours of orientation provided
  • Scrubs not provided - Caribbean Blue required
  • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
  • Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
  • Care for adult and geriatric patients
  • Patient diagnoses include congestive heart failure, MI, atrial fibrillation, cardiac dysrhythmias, stroke / TIA, and other medical conditions
  • Special procedures include peritoneal dialysis, NIHSS, and dysrhythmia / telemetry monitoring
  • Work with safe patient handling equipment and ceiling lifts in every room

    • Facility :

    This healthcare facility operates a 34-bed telemetry unit with a daily census of 27 patients, providing comprehensive cardiac and medical care. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services. The unit is equipped with modern technology including safe patient handling equipment and ceiling lifts in every room to ensure optimal patient and staff safety.
