Conduct patient assessments to evaluate respiratory needs and responses to therapy. Administer critical respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy and aerosol medications. Provide assistance with artificial airway placements and manage mechanical ventilation. Monitor patients closely for therapeutic responses and intervene as necessary. Ensure airway integrity during emergencies and transport of ventilator-dependent patients. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment. Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Associate Degree or graduation from a vocational school.
