Cardiac Nurse Practitioner

Location

75-mile radius rule applies for this position.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM, with potential late shifts on call days. On-call requirement of 16 days every 6 weeks, including 2 weekends.

Job Description

The Cardiac Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for pre-post care, radial access, and scrubbing for heart procedures, including Pacemaker and ICD implants. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heart patients and leg procedures, and must be familiar with EPIC charting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow-ups.
  • Assist in heart surgeries and implant procedures.
  • Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • ACLS and BLS certification required.
  • Experience with pre-post care and heart-related procedures.
  • Familiarity with EPIC charting.
