[job_card.job_description]Two-year college degree in Accounting preferred or 1-2 years experience in an accounting role. Good working knowledge of Hospitality accounting systems. Strong working knowledge of computer systems / programs such as PeopleSoft, Excel, etc. Good interpersonal skills with verbal and written communication skills. Good supervisory skills. Meet strict time deadlines. Able to think and act independently. Operate calculator, PC, Keyboard. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance offered for full time associates following initial waiting period. 401K for eligible associates following 90 days of employment. What Will You Be Doing?
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer statements by posting accounts, allowances, refunds, and payments.
- Review of guest ledger accounts for timely payment receipts.
- Data entry / posting to accounts.
- Run statements and verify information.
- Input of Daily Income Journals.
- File and organize accounting documents.
