Travel RN - Case Management/Utilization Review - Case Management

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with a CA license for an inpatient utilization review role requiring strong case management skills.

Job Details

• Work in an inpatient hospital setting focused on case management,
• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts,
• Position covers every other weekend,
• Resource Management department assignment,
• Responsibilities include utilization review, discharge planning, and regulatory compliance,
• Uses Epic EMR system; experience with Epic preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration,
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,
• More than 2 years of previous inpatient case management experience required,
• Utilization review experience required,
• Submission must include last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth,

Additional Information

• Duties involve case management, utilization review, and ensuring discharge planning meets regulatory standards,
• Travelers may work up to two years within the system before a 90-day break is required,
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates,
• Compliance with health and safety protocols, including potential vaccine requirements, is necessary
