What You Will Do :

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise / Microsoft Windows and environment.

Experience troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).

Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

Lead and coordinate the Red Hat Installation and configuration.

Design, develop and deploy Red Hat Podman containers.

Experience with Server, Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, RAID, backup and server replication methods.?

Install and configure software applications requested by end users.

Experience documenting and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

Full time 100% Onsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have :

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience with some of, but not limited to, the following technologies : Red Hat Enterprise Server, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, BackupExec, NetBackup, prior systems administration and networking administration experience, Windows or Linux administration, backup, and recovery enterprise suites.

Qualifications We Prefer :

Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) and an Operating System Certification.

Experience with Server architecture and troubleshooting methods and be able to assist in developing solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems.

Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, Linux Desktops, Windows desktops (Windows 10, 11), Splunk and ESX and / or other virtual computing methods.

Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and / or DoD / RMF.

Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.

Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.

Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and / or Exchange

High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.

Scripting Experience.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
