PEAK Audio Visual Specialist

This position is being filled through OUs PEAK Temporary Staffing Services.

EMBA at the Price College of Business needs someone who is confident with classroom technology videoconference set up and can comfortably work / interface with senior executives from the energy industry.

This assignment lasts from January 5th though January 12th.

Duties include

• Help instructors access their presentation materials set up the classroom prior to the start of each course.
• Classes begin at 7 : 30am each morning.
• Assist students (who are also industry professionals) one on one with technical questions regarding their laptops wifi access login issues etc
• Set up and support video conferences for guest speakers as well as for Board meeting on January 9.
• Stay on call and nearby as classes run to provide technical support as needed.
• Can work with PCB IT staff for guidance but they do not have the time to commit to help

Required : Bachelors degree; AND :

24 months of experience in audio-visual troubleshooting support installation engineering or system design.

Equivalency / Substitution : Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of the Bachelors degree for a total of 72 months related experience.

Certifications or Licenses :

Valid Drivers License to drive OU vehicles.

Working Conditions :

Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to climb crouch bend or stoop. Ability to engage in repetitive motions. Ability to perform overhead-work and work in confined spaces. Ability to work in any place including above or below ground level and on ladders.
