This Opportunity :

We have immediate full-time career opportunities for ICC Special Inspectors in our Tucson, AZ office. Certerra offers on-going training and the ability to gain valuable career experience and technical certifications.

We have an immediate full-time opportunity for an experienced ICC Special Inspector in our Salt Lake City office. The ideal candidate will have experience performing construction testing and inspection of soil, concrete, masonry, structural steel and / or spray-applied fireproofing.

Essential Functions

• On site observations / inspections to confirm compliance with local building codes and project contract documents
• Collecting samples
• Performing specific QA / QC tests on construction materials and building components per ASTM, ACI, etc. standards
• Compiling detailed records of observations, inspections, and test results

Work is generally performed unsupervised (i.e., employee is in the field as the Company’s representative) but under the direction of a Professional Engineer or Project Manager.
