[job_card.job_description]Work Schedule : Both day and night shifts available Holidays observed : New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Team Support : Robust 30-hour advanced practice provider (APP) coverage per shift Patient Demographics : Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Board Certification : BC / BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABPS accepted) Licensure : Iowa license required or IMLC participation Certifications : DEA License : Required Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medicine Charting and EMR : Familiarity with Cerner EMR system Hospital Size : 366 beds Credentialing Timeframe : Up to 90 days Opportunity to work in a respected facility within a supportive community Competitive hourly rate with flexible scheduling options The chance to gain valuable experience in a high-volume ER setting
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join a dynamic healthcare team near Aredale, Iowa, for a rewarding locum tenens role. If you're committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting and are available for an extended locum assignment, this position may be a great fit.
Position Highlights :
- Location : Near Aredale, Iowa
- Specialty : Emergency Medicine
- Start Date : December 16, 2024
- Contract Length : Ongoing
- Shift Schedule : Flexible 12-hour shifts (Day : 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM, Night : 6 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM)
- Coverage : Scheduled shifts with optional on-call duties
- Patient Load : 71 patients per day on average
- Work Environment : Acute care hospital with advanced trauma capabilities (Level 3)
Position Details :
Up to 30 shifts per month
Requirements :
Required : ACLS, ATLS, PALS (or APLS), MRT for adult and child abuse cases
