Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, address discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with sample collection when required and ensure proper preparation of specimens for testing.
• Document all procedures meticulously, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of hire.
• Individuals must sustain their certification throughout their tenure with us.
