Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing billing operations and ensuring accuracy in financial processes for a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities :

• Prepare, review, and process billing statements with accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage billing collections, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain and update billing systems to reflect current customer and account information.
• Generate financial reports and summaries related to billing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing inquiries and issues.
• Utilize computerized billing systems to streamline processes and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all billing operations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
• Support the integration and optimization of Dynamics 365 Business Central for billing functions. Requirements - Proven experience in billing operations and financial processes.
• Proficiency in computerized billing systems and tools.
• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for resolving billing inquiries and collaborating with teams.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and practices in billing.
• Experience in managing accounts receivable and collections.
