Media Planner

The Media Planner is the daily focal point to the account and will report to a Senior Associate or Manager. You will steward the tactical communications planning process and provide mid-level recommendations to the senior media team and client. You are expected to maintain daily responsibility for assigned accounts and are expected to understand the client's overall business and marketing goals.

Communications Planning

• Aid in the creation of client media communication plan goals
• Create and maintain media plans, flowcharts, buying guidelines, testing plans and results analysis, budget summaries, plan delivery and reports
• Contribute to all communication opportunities relevant to assigned brand / category
• Write POVs and evaluate new media types and outlets
• Support Communications Planning Supervisor in the collection and evaluation of syndicated consumer and media usage information
• Compile reports of competitive market and media information for each brand or category
• Support ACPD / CPS as a facilitating contact point for client's internal media staff and the primary contact point to client's brand staff when media issues are discussed
• May oversee the work of Assistant Communication Planners, ensuring that all deliverables are error free before they are submitted to Supervisors / clients

Qualifications

The anticipated salary range for this position is $39,000-$52,962. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
