Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Cutting Technician. Our Concrete Saw Operators key responsibilities are to make clean and accurate cuts on asphalt and concrete slabs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to repair or assist in changing the blades of machinery by using hand and power tools and may also have experience and knowledge of proper concrete finishing and sealing techniques. Truck and all cutting equipment supplied by company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a concrete saw to make clean, accurate expansion/control joint cuts on finished concrete pavements (roadways, runways, and other surfaces).
• Cut out damaged areas, drill holes for reinforcing rods, and position reinforcing rods to repair concrete, using appropriate tools.
• Complete sawing tasks in a safe, controlled, and timely manner.
• Conduct post-cut inspections; remedy mistakes or other inaccuracies without impacting the integrity and quality of finished products/surfaces.
  
• Maintain work area and equipment in clean and hazard-free condition.
• Observe safe work practices and all safety protocols and instructions
• Other tasks and duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid Driver License with clean motor vehicle record.
• Must be able to commute from job site to job site.
• Knowledge of saw equipment, blades, and safety.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Physical capabilities required are climbing, lifting, carrying a minimum of 75 lbs., standing, sitting, walking, entering confined spaces, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and performing repetitive actions.

Work Environment

• Exposure to loud noise, dust, and heavy machinery.
• May require overtime, weekend work, and occasional out-of-town travel.
