[job_card.job_description]Schedule : Four shifts per week, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm Assess, diagnose, monitor, and manage care for patients with all types of cancer and benign or malignant tumors and diseases in an ambulatory setting Provide outpatient coverage for sickle cell patients Demonstrate competence in administering Prescribe chemotherapy and biotherapy as appropriate Perform history and physical examinations, including pelvic exams as needed Order and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic modalities within specialty scope Implement therapeutic interventions for specific conditions Perform arterial punctures and blood gas sampling Conduct debridement and general care for superficial wounds and minor surgical procedures Incise and drain superficial abscesses Insert and remove non-weighted nasogastric or oro-gastric tubes Complete death certificate protocols Remove central venous catheters Valid New York nurse practitioner license required Required board certifications : Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGPCNP-BC), Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP-BC), Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) Required certifications : ARC-PA accreditation, ACLS, BCLS Recent experience in Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities

We are seeking an experienced
Hematology / Oncology
Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This 1-week opportunity starts on Jan 2, 2026, with orientation followed by clinical work beginning Jan 5, 2026. The schedule consists of four day shifts per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm. The ideal candidate will provide ambulatory sickle cell outpatient coverage and must demonstrate recent competence in chemotherapy and biotherapy prescribing.
