A company is looking for a Senior Manager / Director of Engineering to lead and grow a senior engineering team while staying technically engaged.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coach senior engineers across various business domains, providing clarity and support
Design and evolve team practices and coordination as the team expands into multiple pods
Drive hiring efforts and ensure the recruitment of high-caliber senior engineers
Required Qualifications
Proven experience leading engineering teams with positive feedback from team members
Ability to manage senior engineers who require support but not micromanagement
Hands-on coding experience and familiarity with current engineering challenges
Experience leading distributed or remote teams
Engagement with AI coding tools and a commitment to learning and adapting alongside the team
