📍 Location : Beautiful community setting in Mid-Michigan (Local candidates only)

🕒 Shift Structure :

10-Hour Day Shift : 11 : 00 AM – 9 : 00 PM

Solo APP coverage (PA) with MD on-site for consultation

No call, no nights, no overnights — perfect for work-life balance!

👥 Team & Coverage Details :

✅ 1 Full-Time NP + 2 PRN PAs

✅ Always at least one MD in-house for backup

✅ ED has 25 beds

✅ Cerner EMR in place

✅ Daily patient volume : ~20

✅ Trauma Level : Provisional Level IV

💉 Facility Highlights :

Annual ER Volume : 20,000

ED manages 8% hospital admissions , with 2% transfers

24 / 7 access to :

• ️ Radiology (CT, MRI, X-ray)
• ️ Lab
• ️ OR
• ️ Certified Blood Bank

Consults Available : Ortho, OB, General Surgery, Neuro, Urology

Paramedic communication via radio – ED oversees ambulance calls

Admission orders written by Hospitalist / ED MD

OB patients >

20 weeks may present to ED

📄 Mandatory Immunizations :

Hep B, MMR, Varicella (or titers)

Flu (current season)

COVID documentation

TB (within 12 months)

Tdap (within 10 years)

💵 Compensation & Logistics :

Pay rate : $110-$120 / hr

Orientation : Paid at 50% hourly rate

Reimbursements :

🚗 Travel / lodging / fuel cap =Reimbursed

✅ Ideal Candidate :

Board-Certified NP or PA

Strong ED experience preferred

Confident working independently with MD nearby

Comfortable seeing ~20 patients / shift
