We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Full-Time Ophthalmic Assistant / Clinical Tester. As a key part of our team, you will provide vital chair-side assistance to doctors, conduct essential diagnostic tests as required by ophthalmologists, and offer treatments as directed by the physician.

Key Responsibilities :

• Gather patient history, including chief complaint, current health issues, medical history (ocular and general), family history (ocular and general), and any allergies or medications.
• Manage patient flow to ensure that the physician's exam rooms are efficiently occupied.
• Perform duties similar to an ophthalmic writer / scribe.
• Accurately document and measure the following :
• Visual acuity
• Manual lensometry
• Confrontational visual fields
• Stereopsis
• Motility
• Pupillary function
• Color Plates
• Applanation tonometry
• Humphrey Visual Field
• Educate patients by discussing physician-generated instructions and supplying appropriate educational materials as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in exam rooms.
• Be willing to travel to various office locations and work with any assigned doctor.
• Assist with interdepartmental tasks as required by supervisors or physicians.
