Payroll Assistant

The Courtyards Senior Living is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Payroll Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing the company's payroll, ensuring that all employees are paid correctly and on time. This involves preparing payroll data, checking and confirming the accuracy of timesheets, performing payroll operations according to the company's policies, and keeping detailed records for reference.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare, manage and process payroll for all employees using the company's payroll system
• Verify hours worked, deductions, and pay adjustments
• Update records with new hires, terminations, wage increases, and changes in exemptions
• Address and resolve employee complaints regarding payroll and payroll deductions
• Identify, investigate, and rectify any discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records
• Maintain and regularly update payroll processing system and reimbursement applications
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws related to payroll operations
