DESIGN 1 ENGINEER (job description 2025)
We have partnered with a Global Automotive Research & Development Firm at their North American HQ to lead a search for their Design 1 Engineer role. Our client is a leader in Auto R&D and this role comes with a tremendous opportunity for growth.
·The Design Engineer's two core responsibilities will include the design (CAD/technical) and communications (project coordination).
·Design Engineers lead and drive the execution of new product development projects from Design through CAE, Prototyping, and Testing.
·You will be designing component parts and make 3D math data and 2D drawings.
·You will lead communications between the customer and the designers.
·You will assist in determining and meeting customer requirements, along with assessment of product performance, manufacturability, and cost management.
·You will set and achieve project objectives, kick-off, milestones, on-time completion and post-project effectiveness analyses.
