Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location : Wheat Ridge, CO Agency : All Medical Personnel Pay : $2,259 to $2,510 per week Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Start Date : ASAP About the Position Specialty : RN-Labor and Delivery –Travel Job Description : Responsible for assisting, supporting and educating women during the four stages of delivery : antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal. Sits with and monitors patient throughout (before / during / after) the labor. Monitors contractions and helps patient with breathing techniques. Monitoring the fetal heart rate and mother's vital signs. Cares for patients on Pitocin, MgSO4 & continuous lumbar epidural. Checks patient’s cervix periodically to monitor progression / lack of dilation.
