Business Development & Factoring Sales Representative - SouthStar Capital

Each SouthStar Capital Sales Rep is responsible for business development in their specific geographic market. Outside sales representatives are expected to prospect for new business and sell SouthStar's B2B financial services to small to mid-size companies and organizations.

Starting pay includes base salary plus sales commissions earned. All compensation is based on experience and current clients and business network.

Training

During the training period, and for a required period thereafter, each candidate must live in commuting distance of one of the SouthStar's offices.

Remote Full-Time

Full-Time Sales Managers with 4 or more years of Factoring and Asset-Based Lending experience may work remote nationwide in their home market. Not required to live near a SouthStar office.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for SouthStar's business development in their market by maintaining and growing the company's presence in their designated markets.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and grow B2B customer business relationships.

Make sales calls and actively participate in community organizations.

Maintain self-discipline to grow personal sales to meet monthly sales quota.

Build a network of clients to support future sales

Minimum Requirements Required

Associate's Degree in a business and / or finance-related field

Begin with an established Network of business clients and prospects.

Skilled at finding and sourcing new client opportunities.

Active involvement in the Community and Local Business Networking.

Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM, and PowerPoint.

Projected Candidate Profile

3+ yrs. of recent Factoring Sales experience selling to small and mid-size businesses.

Experienced selling factoring - asset-based lending products and services.

Represents SouthStar Capital's Core Values and culture.

Interested in advancing his or her sales career at SouthStar Capital.

Completes training in 1-year or less.

Compensation Package :

Guaranteed Base Salary plus commissions based on salary and monthly B2B sales.
