Commercial Overhead Door Technician

We are seeking full-time Commercial Overhead Door / Garage Door Technicians to serve clients in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio / Northern Kentucky regional area. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and expertise in garage door and man door installation, repair, and maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety in all tasks
• Be self-motivated and results-oriented
• Collaborate effectively with a team or work independently
• Service and install commercial and residential overhead doors, garage doors, and man doors
• Expertise in commercial overhead, sectional, and rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, and operators
• Install door operators, specialty doors, dock equipment, and gate systems
• Diagnose, repair, and replace various door components
• Conduct overhead and man door preventative maintenance and inspections
• Use and maintain tools and equipment safely
• Perform basic building maintenance tasks (electrical, carpentry, painting)
• Available for emergency calls during nights and weekends on a rotational basis
• Document maintenance, repair, and testing activities accurately
• Maintain truck stock and inventory according to company guidelines
• Build and maintain client relationships through participation in meetings
• Utilize basic computing skills for work order management
• Prepare estimates and bids for project work
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in servicing and installing overhead doors
• 2+ years of experience in Commercial Door Services preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail and well-organized
• Ability to self-manage and exceed performance expectations
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings
