[job_card.job_description]Develop custom machining strategies for tight-tolerance aerospace and defense components Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and project managers on job planning and execution Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to create precise toolpaths Select tooling, define workholding, and support setup documentation Drive continuous improvement in machining processes, cycle times, and tooling life Contribute to quoting and estimating processes for new projects Occasionally assist on the shop floor to troubleshoot or validate new programs 3–5 years of CNC programming experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or R&D environments Strong command of G-code / M-code , toolpaths, and fixture design Expert user of Mastercam ; NX proficiency is a plus Ability to program complex geometries and work with tight tolerances (0.0001") Experience machining exotic materials (Titanium, Inconel, Stainless, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to work closely with machinists and other departments to ensure success Familiarity with estimating, quoting, and lean manufacturing principles is a bonus Competitive Salary : $85K–$90K per year, based on experience Top-Tier Benefits : \n \n HSA contributions Vision, dental, short-term disability, and life insurance 401K with up to 4% match (vests after 90 days) Paid Time Off : 2–3 weeks vacation (negotiable), 9 paid holidays, sick leave Work Environment : Clean, climate-controlled, R&D-focused machine shop ⚙️ Innovation Culture : Work on unique projects that challenge your creativity and technical skills Relocation Assistance : Up to $5,000 for qualified candidates
