Position Summary
The Estate & Inheritor Services Specialist is a dedicated professional within our clients Wealth Management division, tasked with facilitating the seamless transition of assets during the inheritance process. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will provide high-touch support to bereaved clients, beneficiaries, Financial Advisors, and Branch Management. You will act as a primary point of contact in a virtual branch environment, ensuring that legacy transfers are handled with the utmost empathy, accuracy, and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management : Deliver one-on-one support throughout the inheritance lifecycle, utilizing effective relationship management to provide transparency and empathy to beneficiaries.
- Case Management : Actively manage and document a daily case load, ensuring all interactions are captured within Morgan Stanley's proprietary systems and technology resources.
- Service Excellence : Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders via phone and email to resolve inquiries and set expectations in line with firm Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Operational Processing : Execute and follow up on complex service requests, including account openings and asset distributions, ensuring timely completion.
- Risk Mitigation & Compliance : Adhere strictly to SEC, FINRA, and Firm compliance guidelines. Apply rigorous verification policies to prevent identity theft and fraudulent activity.
- Problem Resolution : Research and resolve intricate service issues, escalating sensitive matters to management when appropriate to ensure a "World Class" client experience.
Education and Experience
Education : Bachelor's Degree required.Experience : 3-4 years of experience in the financial services industry.Specialized Knowledge : Prior experience with estates, trusts, retirement plans, and asset distribution processes is highly preferred.Required Competencies
