Position Description :

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

Job Duties / Responsibilities Requirements :

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area (BSP), circumference and volume.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• One (1) year full-time or three years part-time experience in an operating room setting in an acute care facility.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• Current California Registered Nursing license.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS preferred for Pre Admit
• PALS (current or obtained within days of employment).
• CPI is required within days of hire.
