Morning School Custodian

The Morning School Custodian performs general cleaning duties in designated areas at a K-12 school in Plano, TX. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package. Basic qualifications include being at least 18 years old, no experience required, and no high school diploma, GED, or college degree required. Preferred qualifications include prior customer service experience and one year of prior similar work experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, cleaning spills and mop floors, checking trash receptacles, following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, notifying lead cleaner or manager concerning the need for repairs, establishing effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc., collecting, consolidating, and separating recycling into proper receptacles, cleaning and dusting desks, chairs, tables furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceiling, and walls, polishing hard surfaces, wiping and cleaning tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas, moving cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, cleaning interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees, sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, removing snow or performing other incidental seasonal tasks, maintaining the cleanliness of restrooms, and complying with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
