Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid work-type, 2 days in office)

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 salary + spot bonuses + robust benefits (see below)

In partnership with a national leader in infrastructure and industrial systems, we’re seeking a rockstar Senior Accountant to join their expanding team in Greater Phoenix. After smashing past $500 million in revenue in 2024—up from $370 million in 2023—this powerhouse is projecting $600 million for 2025 and aiming for $750 million by 2026, fueled by aggressive acquisitions and organic growth. What You'll Be Up To

As a Senior Accountant, you'll dive into the heart of financial operations. You'll be the go-to person for regional leadership for making sure the numbers add up and everything runs smoothly. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

• Posting monthly journal entries and keeping the General Ledger in tip-top shape.
• Taking charge of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Balancing the books like a pro, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are squeaky clean.
• Collaborating with project managers to keep construction work in progress and on track.
• Managing assets like capital leases, fixed assets, and more, making sure they're all in check.
• Crunching payroll numbers and handling related reconciliations.
• Teaming up with the shared services crew to make sure transactions are spot on.
• Keeping a sharp eye on monthly income statements and making sure everything is accounted for.
• Documenting business processes and sprucing up controls.
• Analyzing financial data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Helping out with audits and making sure they're ready for anything.
• Finding ways to make processes more efficient and accurate.
• Keeping us compliant with all those fun laws and regulations.
• Answering financial questions from execs and managers.
• Jumping into special projects and making them your own.

Who You Are

They want someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, dive into the details, and make a difference. You'll need to have:

• A BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Around 5 years of experience (but if you’re a quick learner with a can-do attitude, they're all ears!).
• A passion for accuracy and a knack for managing multiple tasks.
• Amazing problem-solving skills and a love for critical thinking.
• Advanced skills in accounting systems and Excel (because Excel is your playground).

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in public accounting or auditing.
• A CPA certification (or you’re working on it – they like go-getters!).
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, BuildOps, or Procore.
• A background in the construction industry (hard hat not required).
