Job Description

Location: Renton, WA/Remote (Daybreak Approved Remote Locations (CA, WA, TX, NY, MA))

Salary Range: $82,000 - $100,000, pay may vary on location.

ABOUT OUR STUDIO

Daybreak San Diego is the home of Darkpaw Games, creators of the legendary EverQuest and EverQuest II games. This is also the home of Rogue Planet Games, developer of the award-winning MMOFPS PlanetSide 2.

The Producer is responsible for helping to create and develop Magic: The Gathering Online, this position will be reporting to the Executive Producer. This position will be responsible for:

• Working with the Executive Producer and development team(s) to define and meet project milestones.
• Running the execution of the game development process to produce high-quality content.
• Crafting and maintaining project plans and schedules, including task creation, triage, bi-weekly sprints, and confluence calendars.
• Ensuring live ops documentation is complete and up-to-date.
• Establishing and maintaining a productive and communicative working environment through facilitating daily scrums and project meetings.
• Identifying and resolving issues between the production schedule and design goals.
• Anticipating risks and putting plans of action in place to overcome them.
• Recommending and implementing new processes where efficiencies are needed to improve on-time or on-budget delivery.

Other Criteria

Requirements/Preferences

• Relevant/related Game Producer experience of 4 years.
• SCRUM Master certification or equivalent work experience.
• Strong experience with JIRA/Agile/Waterfall/SCRUM development with hard deadlines.
• Familiarity with the Magic: The Gathering preferred.
