Part-Time Audiologist

Are you a dedicated and Licensed Audiologist seeking an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our Veterans?

This role offers you a chance to conduct vital medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

As an Audiologist, you will review each Veteran's medical records submitted through a secure computer portal during their appointment. Your primary responsibilities will include performing a Maryland CNC test and a Puretone Audiometric test. Based on your assessments, you will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal, which will be crucial in determining the veterans' benefits.

Please note, as an Audiologist in this role, you will not be prescribing any medical treatments or hearing devices.

This part-time position allows you to meet with an average of 3-6 Veterans per day. Enjoy a structured schedule of just 2 days per week, with appointments lasting between 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes each. There are no evening shifts, no on-call duties, no weekends, and no hearing aid sales involved.

Requirements

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an ASHA Accredited program.
• Current state licensing as an Audiologist.
