About the Role
The Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer / Analyst will provide comprehensive support to the SHIELD T&E Directorate. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on system-level test events to validate performance, verify requirements, and support program objectives. The position requires hands-on engagement with complex test programs, coordination with multiple test agencies, and the ability to manage technical tasks across cost and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of assigned developmental and operational test events in accordance with approved test plans, directives, and program objectives.
- Develop test documentation required by test centers and test agencies, including Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), White Sands Missile Range, Aberdeen Test Center, Yuma Test Center, and other DoD test organizations.
- Track documentation submissions, approvals, and required updates to ensure test readiness and compliance.
- Organize and direct all phases of testing for highly technical and complex systems in alignment with program priorities.
- Analyze test data to accurately assess system performance, test metrics, and achievement of required outcomes.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, data summaries, and findings for program stakeholders.
- Interface routinely with task leads, functional leadership, and government counterparts to ensure test activities are synchronized with program cost, schedule, and risk constraints.
- Support development and presentation of test status briefings, technical updates, and schedule reports to senior program office leadership.
- Participate in integrated product teams (IPTs), working groups, and technical interchange meetings to represent T&E perspectives.
Required Qualifications
Senior Level
PhD + 16 years of relevant experience, ORMaster's + 18 years of relevant experience, ORBachelor's + 20 years of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Army program offices, PEO Missiles & Space, or related DoD acquisition programs.Familiarity with ATEC test requirements and developmental / operational test processes.Previous work with air and missile defense, sensor systems, or IFPC-related technologies.Proficiency with test data analysis tools, instrumentation outputs, and range data systems.Location
