Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights, conducting in-depth analysis, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization.
Job Responsibilities :
- Comfortable engaging with production floor teams to gather insights and firsthand understanding of financial issues facing the organization
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives
- Agility in addressing immediate challenges and proposing effective alternatives
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for strategic projects
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, providing detailed explanations and action plans
- Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational efficiency
- Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar roleDemonstrated positive impact in assessing financial risks and develop meaningful solutionsIn-depth knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial statement analysisPreferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBAAdvanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise in spreadsheet creation / editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation / analysis, and complex formula creationStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insightsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences to include all levels of managementDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, other electronic database systemsProficiency in financial reporting tools like Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or OneStreamExperience with data visualization tools, such as Power BIKnowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards in the finance industryExperience working in a multinational corporation or a publicly traded companyAdditional Information
