Job Title : Head, Information Technology – USA
Location : New York
Salary : $180K (Depending on Experience)
Role Purpose : The Head, Information Technology, reports to the Deputy Head / COO, and is responsible for identifying, recommending, developing, implementing and supporting cost solutions and resources for all aspects of Bank and Head Office operations.
Responsibilities
- Direct the implementation of short and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future business requirements
- Direct the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the computing infrastructure that supports the Bank operations and business applications
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Bank information technology and security operations and advise the executive team on emerging technologies and digital trends relevant to the Bank goals and evolving needs
- Oversee the determination of capital investment parameters, priorities, and risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives to maximize the return on investment, in alignment with the overall objectives of the Bank
- Protects the integrity of the Bank by ensuring that it operates in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, abides by the Bank’s Code of Conduct, and promotes compliance in the manner in which business is conducted
- Provides leadership and direction regarding Bank IT systems, including hardware, software, network systems, troubleshooting and security
- Oversee complex technical support for IT applications and ensure high availability of the Bank applications for the service of customers and the conduct of business
- Ensures the IT Department operates in accordance with Bank policies and procedures and maintains acceptable audit standards; identifies areas of potential risk exposure and recommends and implements corrective action as appropriate
- Assists in budget preparation and planning with respect to IT, such as equipment and staffing, to ensure business needs are met
- Plans and implements IT projects and non-routine efforts as appropriate
BSA / AML Responsibilities
Participate in relevant BSA / AML trainingsSpecific duties and responsibilities may vary based upon departmental and Bank needs. Other duties may be assigned similar to the above consistent with the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in applied science or related fieldSeven years of management experience in business applications and network administrationExperience with international banking applications, MS Windows environment, firewalls and switchesIn-depth knowledge of Oracle, IBM Client / Access, IBM AIX, Microsoft Windows ServerWorking knowledge of international banking data processing operations, including SWIFT applicationWorking knowledge of telecommunications, LAN architecture and configuration and network and application security industry standardsWorking knowledge of relational database structureDemonstrated ability to manage installation and upgrades of hardware and softwareStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
