HII Mission Technologies is seeking Engineer Test Operations to join our Nuclear Environmental Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the operational integrity and safety of nuclear propulsion systems. You will be responsible for developing overseeing and executing complex test programs for the U.S. Navy. This position requires a unique blend of engineering rigor shipyard operational knowledge and a commitment to nuclear safety.

Engineering Test Operations 2 - Salary Range $ 82963.4

What You Will Do

• Gathers maintains formats compiles and manipulates technical data such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
• Produces engineering documentation reports drawings (flow charts block diagrams and schematics).
• Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
• Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation / reports.
• May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Physical Requirements

Office industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
