About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Tech Profession : Allied Specialty : Interventional Radiology Duration : 15 weeks Shift : 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift : 40 Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience required License : Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Experience in vascular and cerebral vascular procedures, both diagnostic and interventional, is required. Advanced IR or C / V registry is preferred. Competently operate angiographic equipment used to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures. Act as a scrub assistant on basic interventional and surgical procedures under the direction of attending and resident physicians. Identify and process images, ensuring that images are of diagnostic quality. Assist clinical engineering staff in evaluating digital equipment to maintain consistent image quality. Description : The Interventional Radiology Tech will support Radiologists with IR cases. They will scrub cases and float cases as needed. The candidate will work with various technologies and equipment, including EMR systems. The department uses specific equipment such as PACS, fluoro rooms, and ultrasound. Weekend rotation is not required, and the candidate will only be expected to work holidays if on call for their scheduled week. The department culture is inclusive.
