[job_card.job_description]Experience : Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems maintenance, preferably in a food production or manufacturing environment. Skills : Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Technical Skills : Knowledge of some or all of the following is a benefit, but not required : Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) HVAC / Refrigeration Welding Boilers Electrical skills Computer skills Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable with walking, standing, stooping, bending, and reaching. Self-Starter : A proactive attitude and the drive to learn independently and take initiative. Position : Bakery Mechanic
Location : Orlando
Department : Maintenance
Reports To : Maintenance Manager
What You'll Do :
- Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and repairs on bakery equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and systems issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Preventive Maintenance : Develop and follow a preventive maintenance schedule to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Safety First : Promote a safe work environment by following and enforcing safety procedures and addressing any hazards promptly.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
