About Our Client :

Addison Group is partnering with a healthcare organization seeking a Patient Financial Representative to support patient billing inquiries and payment resolution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction, has a strong understanding of insurance cost-sharing, and is comfortable handling high-volume phone communication.

Job Description :

The Patient Financial Representative will serve as a primary point of contact for patients with questions regarding balances, payment plans, and insurance responsibilities. This role is phone-heavy and requires the ability to clearly explain deductibles, copays, and coinsurance while providing a compassionate, customer-focused experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Answer inbound patient calls regarding billing questions and outstanding balances.
• Review account balances with patients and explain charges clearly and accurately.
• Calculate and explain copays, coinsurance, and deductibles.
• Set up and manage patient payment plans.
• Process patient payments securely and accurately (no payment posting required).
• Communicate primarily by phone; minimal face-to-face interaction.
• Maintain professionalism and empathy during frequent patient interactions throughout the day.
• Document account activity and conversations accurately within the system.
