Position Overview:
As a Cosmetology Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the futures of aspiring cosmetologists. You'll create and implement engaging lesson plans, deliver practical demonstrations, and assess student performance while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a curriculum that meets industry standards and inspires student creativity.
• Conduct hands-on training and practical demonstrations in cosmetology techniques.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students, facilitating their growth and success.
• Maintain classroom management and uphold a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Cosmetology Teacher License in the State of Illinois.
• Hands-on experience in the cosmetology industry.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and fostering student success.
• Ability to engage and motivate students in a collaborative learning environment.
• Monday through Friday 5:00-10:00pm CST

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility
