Maxicare Select, a Legacy Care Partners, Inc company, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Home Health team. We provide Nursing, Therapy, and Aide services to Worker's Compensation Insurance and Private Duty patients. Maxicare Select was established in 2004 and is licensed in Miami -Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties. We are proud to be serving the South Florida area with quality home health care services.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for patients recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Speak in a calm and pleasant voice

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Level 2 AHCA background screening
• Valid driver's license or State Identification card
• HHA certificate or CNA license
• Supportive and compassionate
• Take pride in providing high quality care
