Pediatrics Physician

A primary care health center in Omaha, NE is seeking a talented, full-time Pediatrician to join their growing team! Pay : $135,000 - $195,300 / annually

Pediatrician Responsibilities :

• The Pediatrician works as part of the medical provider team, performing a variety of direct primary care services to patients
• Provides general supervision to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as appropriate
• Provides inpatient care services and / or rounding on newborns
• Obtains completes medical history, reviews medications, and performs complete physical examinations
• Diagnoses acute and chronic illness on the basis of clinical findings, laboratory and x-ray reports, and / or the results of other diagnostic procedures according to approved protocols
• Implements treatment and prescribes medications as needed according to therapeutic goals
• Formulates, initiates, and monitors management plans for assigned patients using approved protocols
• Provides health education to patients and their families as appropriate
• Other duties may be included in the Physician s employment contract
