Associate Veterinarian

Bernalillo Pet Care Center is eager to welcome an Associate DVM to our team. We're located in Bernalillo, NM, a great community about 10 minutes north of Albuquerque. We are offering a rare bonus / relocation package of $50,000 for a full-time DVM. We are also offering a housing stipend for the first year for a full-time veterinarian interested in relocating to the area.

Experience and scheduling :

We are seeking a full-time and part-time veterinarian at Bernalillo Pet Care Center. We are looking for someone interested in both surgeries and appointments. While this is an excellent opportunity for experienced veterinarians, we are open to new grads as well.No Saturday coverage needed!

As an Associate DVM, you'll collaborate with our 2 doctors, who have a wide range of experience, and will have 2 technicians supporting you each day (+ / - a floater). Our doctors have interests in critical care medicine, senior wellness, exotics, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. Outside of work, our team enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, exploring National Parks, crafting, and of course, spending time with their loved ones. We are a family-friendly practice with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Housing stipend for one year for a full-time DVM relocating to the area (must be relocating 100+ miles to be eligible)

We are a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive healthcare services to pets in Bernalillo, Rio Rancho, Albuquerque, Placitas, and the surrounding areas. Our veterinarians offer a variety of medical, surgical, and dental services with advanced equipment and technologies to provide the high standards of care for our patients. Our facility is equipped and recently remodeled with brand-new surgical and dental suite, advanced dental equipment and dental x-rays, comprehensive in-house laboratory testing, digital x-rays, brand new ultrasound, full set of ortho equipment, electrocautery, as well as in-house and online pharmacy. Our primary focus is small animal, but we offer services to occasional pocket pets and exotics as well (we currently do not see birds but could start if this is your passion). Our technicians and assistants are able to fully utilize their skillset in this fast-paced and fun, yet professional, environment.
