Position Summary

The CNC Operator / Programmer is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines. This role requires a hands-on machinist who is comfortable running machines, performing setups, assisting with tooling, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC Mill machines and fabrication equipment
• Assist with programming and operation of CNC equipment, including 5-axis machining
• Load and unload metal materials into CNC mills.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and offsets
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
• Verify tool and part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators
• Inspect finished products to ensure conformance to quality standards and specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC mills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with tooling selection, tooling maintenance, and process optimization
• Support inventory tracking and material management as needed
• Collaborate with production, fabrication, and engineering teams to meet production goals
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Hiring Salary Range : $20.00-$25.00 / hour ($1.00 differential rate)

Location : Tea, SD (right off I-29)

Work Hours : 7 : 00am to 4 : 30pm Monday – Friday (40hrs + 5hrs overtime per week)
