Pork Sales Account Representative

We are looking for a Sales Account Representative for our Retail Pork Inside Sales team located in our Peachtree City, GA sales office. Primary responsibilities include managing regional retail, foodservice, and distributor accounts, developing new business with targeted accounts, and working together to manage profitability for all parties.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and grow JBS's retail pork accounts
• Develop new accounts
• Build customer relationships
• Use product and market knowledge to generate sales
• Determine customer needs and match new product and programs to address account goals
• Present pricing quotes and modify prices, as necessary, to deal with specific customer needs
• Collaborate with field sales teams to target new accounts and attain regular business; as well as, develop existing accounts and move up the value chain
• Increase converted / value added sales throughout entire customer base
• Work with margin management to maximize sales margin
• Contact accounts daily to discuss the availability and pricing of individual products to boost daily sales
• Understand industry trends / market conditions
• Communicate effectively
• Collaborate with inter-company departments on sales projects
• Coordinate with margin management, operations, scheduling, traffic, and load tying to ensure all order information is complete and accurate
• Utilize reports from the business analysis group to grow sales, increase profitability, and improve efficiencies
• Thorough understanding of entire customer organizational structure and merchandising strategy
• Understand all accounts in department to make the team stronger
• Responsible for understanding accounts in regards to : Payment Terms, Credit, Claims, Service, etc.
