Pipe Stress Engineer

A company is looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer to support projects in the power and energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze modifications to existing power plants and new plant systems

Perform pipe stress calculations and develop design recommendations, specifications, and change packages

Lead design engineering efforts within a multidisciplinary project team and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

2-5 years of piping / mechanical design experience with a focus on pipe stress analysis

Proficiency in AutoPIPE, GTSTRUDL, and Mathcad required

Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred

Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S
