WSP is looking for talented individuals to join our team as a Senior Consultant to support the company’s growing Sustainability, Energy and Climate Changedivision. This position could work out of WSP’s offices in one of these locations : Portland, OR; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Buffalo, NY; New York, NY; Greensboro, NC; Bethlehem, PA; San Francisco, CA; San Diego, CA; Arlington, VA;Boulder, CO. Other WSP office locations can be arranged for an exceptional candidate. The individual will be involved in projects with our Climate, Resilience and Sustainability Teamand be part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

The individual will lead client-facing teams in the design, management, and reporting of product and organizational sustainability programs in the electronics and technology business sectors, focusing on Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and capacity to work on a wide variety of projects and the demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Candidates should be passionate about LCA, sustainability, and climate resilience, self-motivated and self-directed, collaborative, and able to produce high-quality work products.

Your Impact

• Lead delivery with electronics LCA projects from start to finish, including :
• Researching and collecting life cycle inventory data, performing quality assurance, developing new datasets to fill data gaps
• Performing modeling in software platforms such as LCA For Experts (formerly GaBi), SimaPro, GREET and openLCA
• Developing product life cycle assessments to calculate impacts such as GHG emission, energy use, water use, consumption and scarcity, waste, and other impacts.
• Producing reports (screening-level and ISO-conformant, comparative and non-comparative) and presentations based on the results of LCAs
• Producing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), eco passports / profiles and LCA background reports per relevant Product Category Rules (PCRs) and the EU Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) methodology
• Research opportunities to reduce environmental impacts in the life cycle of a product or service
• Produce sustainability reports, disclosures, and other communications
• Develop and maintain data management systems and business intelligence tools
• Support business development activities with existing and prospective clients
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Compensation :

Expected Salary (all locations) : $74,200 - $150,590

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and / or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only) : $74,200 - $141,350
