Overview
The New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) at Touro University seeks a dedicated faculty member to contribute to the Business and Accounting Department at its main campus in the vibrant 3 Times Square location. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction, engaging in scholarly research and publication, and actively participating in university service. Semesters comprise 15 sessions with a maximum enrollment of 25 students per course. Proficiency in the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Responsibilities
- Instructional Delivery : Teach four courses per semester (Spring and Fall), accommodating diverse scheduling needs including day, evening, and Sunday classes.Deliver instruction in a hybrid modality, seamlessly integrating in-person classroom teaching with concurrent Zoom sessions.Develop and maintain engaging and effective course materials and assessments.
- Scholarly Activity : Conduct and disseminate business-relevant research through publications in reputable scholarly and professional journals and books.
- University Service : Actively participate in university committees and contribute to the broader academic community.Attend and contribute to faculty meetings and engage in the intellectual life of the university.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
Master's degree in a relevant field required.Doctorate preferred.Terminal degree (., ., DBA) in a relevant discipline preferred.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Travel may be required to other Touro University campuses within the New York City area.Working Conditions
Instruction will primarily take place at the 3 Times Square campus and via Zoom.Maximum Salary
