Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details : \n

  • Work 3x12 day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • 2 years of experience required

    • \n

  • Cath Lab experience required

    • \n

  • Interventional Radiology (IR) and Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred

    • \n

  • First time travelers accepted with positive references

    • \n

  • 5-7 on-call shifts required per month

    • \n

  • Float to cover IR and EP as needed

    • \n

  • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • \n

  • Daily census of 15-20 patients in 4-room facility

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ARRT R or CCI RCIS, ACLS, BLS

    • \n

  • Maryland license preferred

    • \n

  • Compact license or MD license required

    • \n

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

    • \n

  • Handle primary PCI, vascular / peripheral angiograms, EP studies, pacemaker implants, ablations

    • \n

  • Assist with IABP, Swan-Ganz, coronary lithotripsy, and coronary microvascular disease diagnostics

    • \n

  • Perform biopsies, paracentesis / thoracentesis, port placements, and nephrostomy tube procedures

    • \n

  • Work with MacLab / CardioLab documentation systems

    • \n

  • Use specialized equipment including GE and Philips fluoro imaging and ultrasound systems

    • \n

  • Rotating weekend schedule with no scheduled weekend requirements

    • \n

  • Two supervisor references required

    This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional services department featuring a 4-room catheterization laboratory. The facility provides advanced cardiac care including diagnostic and interventional procedures, electrophysiology services, and interventional radiology. The organization maintains state-of-the-art imaging equipment and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and comprehensive patient care services.
