The Integrated Solutions, Modeling, and Architecture (ISMA) directorate assesses, develops, and evaluates solution architectures for our customers’ largest, most complex challenges across all the operational domains. In the Operations and Mission Analysis Department you’ll be part of a special team that analyzes the world’s most challenging threats and helps define new capabilities to counter them, pushing the boundaries of innovation, and leading the industry in operational modeling and simulation using our purpose-built software. As a team member in the Air Dominance Modeling and Analysis section, you will join a high-performing team of engineers working with high-fidelity sensor, platform, and weapon simulations to provide actionable analysis to the Department of Defense and the Warfighter.

Raytheon is currently seeking a Kill Chain Software Developer Intern for Summer 2026. This is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

• Actively participate as a member of an agile development team
• Design, Develop, Review and Test new software features in an all-digital distributed simulation environment
• Work closely with senior developers to implement APIs and integration external high-fidelity digital simulation software into Raytheon’s Air Dominance Testbed and Air Combat Evaluation Model®.
• Provide direct Warfighter support by developing software used to inform operator tactics and procedures.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to verify and validate digital simulation performance
• Work cross-domain to develop medium-fidelity physics models of conceptual missile systems
• Expand your knowledge base in various software and system components to be able to support a wide variety of software development tasks.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
