Location : Shoreview, MN

Wage : $20 - $30 / hr (depending on experience)

Hours : 7 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday

Twin City Staffing is now hiring a Dicing and Lapping Technician for a high-precision manufacturing company in Shoreview, MN. This hands-on role involves working with advanced equipment to support the fabrication of critical components in a clean, organized environment. If you have experience with wafer processing, dicing saws, or lapping tools and enjoy technical work with high attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Duties of the dicing and lapping technician :

  • Operate and maintain dicing saws, lapping tools, and CMP equipment
  • Perform chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) to achieve precise planarity and surface finish
  • Set up and monitor process parameters such as pressure, speed, and slurry flow
  • Execute accurate dicing of wafers and substrates with minimal material loss
  • Follow work instructions, travelers, and SOPs to complete tasks
  • Conduct in-process inspections using microscopes, profilometers, and interferometers
  • Record process data, measurements, and equipment status in logs and MES
  • Assist engineering and R&D with process improvements and test runs

    • Requirements of the dicing and lapping technician :

  • Experience dicing, lapping, and polishing equipment in a cleanroom or precision fabrication environment
  • Strong understanding of metrology tools and process documentation
  • Familiarity with MES systems, wafer handling, and cleanroom practices
  • Mechanically inclined with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
