The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

General Position :

Opportunities in acute pain as well as liver transplant, cardiac, and general anesthesiology are available for candidates with fellowship training or substantial experience in these subspecialties.

  • Schedule : daylight coverage M-F / 6 : 30a– 3 : 30p / 6 : 30a - 5 : 30p / 6 : 30a - 7 : 30p.
  • Call : in-house : 7p-7 : 30a / beeper call : 7p - 7a.
  • CRNA supervision, 2.75 : 1 concurrency target.
  • Hospital has 51 anesthesiologists and 87 CRNAs.
  • Academic appointment : yes.
