What You Will Contribute

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and creating personalized treatment plans
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in cooperation with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and families on preventive measures, wellness practices, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatment within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and effective chronic care management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Education

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
